Corinne will give a multi instrumental recital in the Lowther Pavilion Theatre in Lytham St Anne’s, Lancashire, on Monday 20th May at 1pm. She will perform classical repertoire on each of her five wind instruments: oboe, cor anglais, soprano, alto and tenor saxophones, and will be accompanied by the Japanese pianist, Haruko Seki. Corinne and Haruko first met at The Royal Academy of Music, London, in 1989 when they were both studying with Piers Lane. They have been friends collaborating musically ever since and very much enjoy making music together.
The programme is called “A European Musical Adventure” with the central feature in the programme being the wonderfully romantic sonata for cor anglais and piano by Italian composer Carlo Yvon. Tickets are available from the Lowther Pavillion directly. Don’t miss this exciting musical feast!
