Corinne’s photograph of the Godafoss Waterfalls

Iceland lived up to its name – despite the summer season! All onboard Fred Olsen’s popular cruise ship, the Black Watch, enjoyed spectacularly beautiful scenery at all ports around the island. Some of the highlights being the Godafoss Waterfalls and the Hot Springs near Akureki. It was a photographer’s haven… Enjoy Corinne’s photos!

Hallgrimskirkja, Reykjavik

The Hallsgrìmskirkja in Reykjavik was another stunning sight and the blue sky a picturesque backdrop for photographs.

The two concerts scheduled for the final two sea days were well received with cheers from the audience who then swamped the onboard shop to purchase their copies of Corinne’s CD’s.

Another highlight was the sighting of whales in one of the Icelandic Fiords as well as the magical Aurora Borealis on the penultimate cruise night. Quite incredible!

All in all, another fabulous experience with Fred Olsen.
